ABOUT ME
Director. Editor. Storyteller.
Growing up, the camera had always been a big part of my life. My parents were always taking pictures and videos of me so it was only natural that as I got older, the camera also became a huge part of my life.
On Christmas eve 2008, my grandmother gave me my first camera and from that day on, that little camera became the stepping stone to pursuing my passion. I brought that camera to school every day and during recess, my friends and I would think of and create random video skits. Those videos helped me get to where I am today.
Fast forward to high school and my love for filmmaking only skyrocketed. I started really getting into making music videos and experimenting with different filmmaking genres and techniques. In 11th and 12th grade I attended Western Suffolk Boces for Digital Film and Video Production and I can honestly say, it's the best decision I've ever made.
During my 2 years at Boces, I was able to expand my craft by learning new techniques and being trained on various equipment and software used throughout the industry. I wrote, produced, directed and edited numerous films, commercials, and educational videos that are still used and shown today.
During my Boces career, I created a music video for the song "Story Of My Life" that won First Place in the Music Video category and Overall Best Film at the 2015 Locust Valley Film Festival. From that win at LVFF, my film was entered into the 2015 Long Island International Film Expo where it received an Honorable Mention. During my senior year, I made a documentary titled "Lovin Lauren" revolving around my autistic younger sister Lauren. "Lovin Lauren" won First Place in the Documentary Category and Overall Best Film. "Lovin Lauren" was entered again into The Long Island International Film Expo. That year, "Lovin Lauren" was also in the Saint John the Baptist Film Festival where the film won First Place in the Documentary category and The All American High School Film Festival.
With experiences under my belt, I was more than ready to start my journey at Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York. At Five Towns, my passion didnt diminished but only increased. I continued to make films and further my craft while working hard to be able to graduate a year early. Two films that I directed and wrote at Five Towns, "Lurking" and "Strength", were selected to be shown in the 2018 Long Island International Film Expo.

During my senior year of college, I worked tirelessly to create my senior film, "When Opportunity Knocks". "When Opportunity Knocks" was originally a short story that I came across on Tumblr. I contacted the author and secured the rights to the story. I transformed the story into a script, added some of my own touches and "When Opportunity Knocks" was born. My cast and crew worked hard to make this film the best it could be. We are all truly proud of this film and glad we were able to do this story justice. The film is set to be released late June 2019.

Having graduating college in May 2019, I'm excited to see what else this crazy, amazing road has in store for me.
